August Affirmation: I Am Doing What It Takes Even Though I May Be Afraid

Final cover for A Cowards Solace

At the end of this month I am officially launching my new book A Coward’s Solace. Finally I am putting my baby out there on August 29, 2015.
Yes, I have a launch to plan and prepare, but that is not all that I will be doing this month to get ready for that launch. I have to contact people and let them know that I would like for them to attend. The more people that I personally ask to come to the launch, the better.
Also, I will need to send out press releases, and vie for public appearances and radio interviews. I will need to contact other bloggers/authors about guest spots.
Last month was all about planning. This month it is all about the execution of those plans. Even though I may be afraid, I will do it any way.

Starting A Writers Group

Two days later I have arranged the start of The Oregon County Writers Group. Here’s what I have so far. I have located my venue (co-op building on the square, confirmed the date, and begun work on the flier that will go up around the county that we are starting a writer’s club.
A couple of things that I have done this week that is connected with these two projects is that I have had my physical mailbox put in and my mail (finally!) transferred to my new address. In addition, I have put in a home phone. Partly because I don’t have cell service where I live, but also because I plan to do phone interviews for online and regular radio. (I have done a few of these in the past, but I really need to be doing many more.
